Analyzer Utility
The FleXDS emulators requires a full
version of the CCS 2.x/3.x. DSK and DEMO versions
will not work!
CCS 1.x or older versions are not covered by this utility.
Execute the utility below and look at the screen output for analysis
results.

FleXDS PCI Installation Package
Note that this software can not be used for the
FleXDS PCI 560+ emulator! Updates for the FleXDS PCI 560+ are included in
CCS 2.20.
All FleXDS 510 PCI device
drivers, documentation and diagnostics are contained in the following
installation package. In order to obtain the
latest version FleXDS PCI SW, please download, execute and follow the
included instructions:

CCS 3.x Support: The following zip file
contains the driver dll which supports CCS 3.x (especially for
multi-DSP systems). This driver has been verified with most targets
including C6713 and TCI6482 with
a built in IcePick JTAG router. Check this site periodically for updates. This driver only works with FleXDS PCI board
version 2. Version number can be determined with the flexdsreset utility.
If you bought your FleXDS in the last few years, you should have version
2.

FleXDS USB 2 Installation Package
Note that this software is only to be used for
the USB 2 emulator!
Check that the side of your USB POD is labeled "USB 2" before downloading
this software.
All FleXDS USB 2 device
drivers, documentation and diagnostics are contained in the following
installation package. In order to obtain the latest version FleXDS USB
2 SW, please download, execute and then follow
the included instructions.

When updating from the 'FleXDS
USB 2 Installation Package' version 1.0.0.3 (or older), you MUST follow
the instructions in
'C:\Program Files\DSPR\FleXDSUSB2\USB2_sys_Instr2.txt'
to complete
the installation!!!
The instructions file
'C:\Program Files\DSPR\FleXDSUSB2\USB2_sys_Instr2.txt' will open
automatically when the installation of the 'FleXDS USB 2 Installation
Package' completes.
FleXDS USB Installation Package (not for
USB 2)
If you have a
regular USB emulator (not USB 2), you should use this Installation
Package. If you are not sure, check that
the side of your USB POD is not labeled "USB 2".

included instructions.

IMPORTANT for you who are
updating from 'FleXDS USB Installation
Package, version 1.0.0.5' or earlier !!!
When updating from the 'FleXDS
USB Installation Package' version 1.0.0.5 or earlier, you need to do these
additional steps to complete the installation:
(The USB driver update procedure is only described for Win 2k, but the
procedure is similar for Win 98 and Win XP)
- Plug in your USB POD
- Open the device manager
- Right click on 'USBIO
controlled devices/USBIO Device: VID=1090 PID=9001' and select
Properties
- Select the Driver Tab and
click on the 'Update Driver...' button
- Click 'next>'
- Select 'Search for a
suitable driver for my device (recommended)'
- Select 'Specify a location'
ONLY.
- Browse to 'c:\Program
Files\DSPR\FleXDSUSB\inf'
- Click 'next>'
- Click 'Finish'
- Restart your computer
FleXDS PCMCIA Installation Package
All FleXDS PCMCIA device drivers, documentation and diagnostics
are contained in the following installation package. In order to obtain
the latest version FleXDS PCMCIA SW, please download, execute and then
follow the included instructions. This package
is password protected. Please
contact us for password.

FleXDS Modules Package
This package contains example programs for our
DSP Modules. This
package is password protected and to be eligible to
receive a password you must have purchased one of our DSP Modules. So
please provide us with the following information to
receive a password:
- DSP Module purchased (e.g. C5510 Module).
- The Serial Number of the DSP Module (can be found
on the back of the DSP Module)
